Serious Stuff: License Update

First off, we’ve folded both Superpowered HLS and Superpowered USB Audio and USB MIDI for Android into the Superpowered Audio SDK. No more need to license them separately.

Second, we have simplified and clarified the license. To qualify for a free license, you must meet all three conditions: public app store distribution, less than 500k app-installs and a Superpowered splash screen. 

Otherwise, contact licensing@superpowered.com for licensing options. Our licensing team will provide reasonable pricing and terms, whether you are an indie developer or enterprise tech.

Please, whatever you do, don’t risk your app by not being license compliant. We’ll be reaching out to folks soon to make make sure everyone is in compliance.
